Sufi music, qawwali, classical music and ghazal, performed by well-loved artists from India and Pakistan. The full line-up will be announced soon.
SAMAA takes place in the open air at Zabeel Park, one of Dubai's best-known city parks and home to the Dubai Frame.
The main stage, the Dastarkhwan food festival and the Artisan Bazaar are all a short walk from each other. Come for one performance or stay for the whole evening.
The SAMAA emblem is a whirling rosette inside a ring of flowers. The rosette is inspired by the turning of Sufi dervishes. The floral border comes from Mughal design.
Together they stand for what the festival is about: music, poetry and people coming together in one place.
